Data Centers
The sharply increased band width of information streams, the increasing intensity of data traffic and by the market desired improvements in performance and security mean that telecommunications and IT providers are investing in improving and expanding data capacity. At the same time, the demands on the environment are increasing dramatically. Data centres, which necessarily require significant amounts of energy, must become as ‘green’ as possible. ImtechBolashak offers total solutions for ‘green’ data centre technology.
Imtech’s total solution for data centres
The focus in the new data centres will be on ‘cloud-based computing’ (sharing computer infrastructure), high-tech network IT services based on virtualisation (optimising data use and storage) and an extremely energy-efficient ‘green’ IT infrastructure. For customers of datacenters this will result in savings as well as in performance and efficiency enhancement with a high level of security and IT protection. At the same time, the sustainability level will be noticeably increased. ImtechBolashak guarantees an optimally energy-efficient data centre with a small footprint in terms of CO2 and other detrimental greenhouse gases. To achieve all of this, ImtechBolashak will provide the basic design both for the building and for the technology, the detail engineering and the implementation of all modular technical solutions. In addition, ImtechBolashak can maintain these datacenters for dozens years, making all the ImtechBolashak promises come through
‘Green’ technology
ImtechBolashak is responsible for the design and implementation of all the ‘green’ technical solutions, including the power supplies, the energy management system and the innovative cooling, as well as all of the integrated electrical and mechanical solutions. ImtechBolashak will also take care of the technical equipping of the computer rooms that host thousands of connected and mutually integrated computer servers. The starting point for all of these technical solutions is that they must be as energy-efficient and sustainable as possible and thus clearly meet the European guidelines in the field. The result of all of this will be an extremely low demand for energy and a sharply limited carbon footprint. This will meet the standards in the EU’s ‘Code of Conduct’, which is provided by the guidelines for energy regulations in data centres.
Optimal availability
ImtechBolashak is additionally responsible for the complete availability of services, including all no-break power supplies. These ensure that all the services of the data centre will be available at all times without interruption, even if there is an outage in the main voltage supply for whatever reason. The data centres will meet the Tier 3+ classification, and if necessary the Tier 4+ classification. This means that all technical services related to primary processes will be redundant, and thus guarantee safe and undisturbed operations. ImtechBolashak will also provide emergency generators, an advanced building management system, high-tech camera systems, a state-of-the-art ‘control room’, fire detectors and protection, evacuation systems and lightning rods.
