BOLASHAK History “Bolashak” means “the Future” in Kazakh but here are a few words about the past.

 

The Past

Bolashak was established in Kazakhstan in 2000. Since then, we have grown to become the leading provider of technical and engineering solutions in Kazakhstan, playing a key role in supporting all the major oil and gas projects in Kazakhstan, as well as providing a wide range of support to other industries.

Here are some of the milestones in the history of our Company:

 

  • 2000: Company established, with offices in Atyrau, Tengiz and Aksai.
  • 2000: First contract awarded to supply local manpower to the Karachaganak project
  • 2001: Contracts awarded for supply of local manpower to the Tengiz and Kashagan projects
  • 2002: Offices established in Astana, Aktau and Almaty
  • 2002: First contract awarded to supply Commissioning services to the Karachaganak project
  • 2002: Bolashak became the first Kazakhstan manpower company to receive ISO 9001 certification
  • 2003: Contracts awarded to supply expatriate manpower to the Karachaganak, Tengiz and Kashagan projects
  • 2004: Contract awarded to supply manpower to a major construction project in Astana
  • 2005: Partnership established with KGNT
  • 2005: First QA/QC inspection contract awarded on the Kashagan project
  • 2006: Reached milestone of 1,000 employees
  • 2007: Reached milestone of 2,000 employees
  • 2008: Re-location to new offices in Atyrau
  • 2008: First contracts awarded to supply services to the mining industry
  • 2009: Establishment of JV Company, SEFtec Global Training, to supply training services, including BOSIET and other safety training
  • 2009: Reached milestone of 3,000 employees
  • 2010: Joined with Imtech and formed a new Kazakh company called ImtechBolashak

 

The Future

Bolashak has now grown beyond its origins in Kazakhstan.

Bolashak International was established in early 2009, with our headquarters in Central London.

We are now supplying our “complete solution” service to Clients in international locations.

Our vision for the Future is to continue to provide our unique total support service in Kazakhstan, and utilize our wide network of resource and experience to meet an increasing demand for our services internationally.

Bolashak has a proven history of supplying high calibre services to major projects in Kazakhstan. We have developed a strong operational support team, with wide experience and the skills required to successfully manage a large multi-cultural workforce. We have recruited and trained key multi-lingual personnel from Kazakhstan, led by a team of expatriate and Kazakh management, who have many years of experience in doing business in Kazakhstan.

 

Our Offices are located throughout the major industrial regions of Kazakhstan, enabling us to support our Clients wherever our services are needed.
